Mugnos Palace

The Mugnos family is the namesake of this structure, which was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.

The building was reinforced after the earthquake of 1693.

The main façade, in late Baroque and Rococo style, has great artistic value due to its friezes.

The stone balconies are decorated with typical masks from the stylistic tradition of Sicilian Baroque, and the entrance portal features the coat of arms of the Vassallo family, who acquired ownership of the palace after the Mugnos.

The main entrance overlooks the inner courtyard and is surmounted by a balcony, like the two side entrances.

The part of the building overlooking Via Mugnos belongs to the Municipality of Licodia Eubea.
