Capuana Palace

Luigi Capuana’s family home and birthplace, where he returned in 1868 after a long stay in Florence, is a neoclassical building on two floors with two entrances: the main one facing Via Capuana and the secondary one on Via Romano.

At the behest of Commendator Blandini, a great admirer and scholar of Capuana’s work, a plaque commemorating the writer is placed next to the main door. After a series of restorations, today the building houses the “Luigi Capuana House Museum” and the Civic Library.
