Civic Museum “Antonino Di Vita”

The Civic Museum, named after the famous archaeologist Antonino Di Vita, is housed in some rooms of the Licodia Eubea Town Hall.

The collection gathers artefacts found in the area by the Superintendence of Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Catania.

The exhibition is divided into three sections.

The first is dedicated to the oldest human settlement in the area, while the second illustrates the archaic and indigenous Hellenised settlements.

The last section gathers imported artefacts together with the typical ceramics known as the “facies” of Licodia Eubea.
