It was built by the Trigona family as a seasonal residence in the centre of their fiefdom of San Cono.
The houses of the peasants and of the person responsible for the small block were attached to the palace.
It was surrounded by stables and warehouses, with a watering place for the animals with water from the Vallone Mira.
Today the palace is a private property.
