Monument to Luigi Capuana

The work by Vincenzo Torre da Nicolosi was created in Rome in 1934 and inaugurated two years later.

Located in the center of the square, the monument develops on a travertine base on which the statue and the bronze panels rest, bearing illustrations on scenes taken from some of Capuana’s works, such as “Giacinta”, an allegory of fairy tales, “Bonagenti” and “Il marchese di Roccaverdina”.

The writer is depicted with a pen and a notebook.
