Built in 1635 by Giacinto Paternò and extended a century later with the second floor by Ottavio Trigona, it is a Baroque building with a portal, jambs and windows in carved stone.
It is very large and has a courtyard surrounded by an area cultivated with a garden, a vegetable garden and a grove.
In the entrance hall there is a large cistern fed by rainwater, with wrought iron columns.
On the upper floor there are some pieces of furniture and paintings that belonged to the Biscari family.
In the old master bedroom, there is a chapel with an artistic altar carved in mahogany.
Attached to the palace is a building commonly known as “the Prison”, once used as a place of punishment for vassals who did not fulfil their duties towards the baron.
